Announcment Poster in size 2 New Zealand Pre Wedding Tour 2017 15 to 19 November 2017 Limited slots available

For the first time, I will be doing a pre wedding photo shoot tour to New Zealand!! After being astounded by the natural beauty of New Zealand during my vacation there in April this year, I just knew that I had to come back and put the beautiful natural scenery into pictures for my couples.

I intend to shoot at Lake Tekapo, Mt John and possibly along the way to Mt Cook. All these places offer beautiful views of the New Zealand Landscape.

I would be doing the Tour at a special rate for couples who would like to go and have their photos shot by me in New Zealand.  Minimum of 5 couples to go and registration for the shoot closes on 15 August 2017.

Do email me at jgp@jeromegoh.com for details

Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Here is a blog post from my Holiday in New Zealand 🙂

Lake Matheson – Beautiful Reflections at Sunset

I went to New Zealand with my wife in April for a vacation and I have to say it is an amazingly beautiful country, blessed with amazing natural beauty, New Zealand has to be on your list of places to visit.

We hired a car in Christchurch and drove around for the 2 weeks we were there, everyday we were just astounded by the beautiful roads and scenery. It had been almost 2 months since we came back and we still talk about our trip everyday.

I was so astounded by the beauty of New Zealand that I have planned a Pre Wedding Tour back there in November. I know the Pre Wedding photos I will do there will just be amazing. I just have to challenge myself and do a pre wedding photoshoot there. For details of My New Zealand Pre Wedding Tour, please click here.

On my holidays, I travel relatively “light” camera wise. I only brought my Canon 5D with a 17-40mm L lens and my Gopro camera, I took snapshots whenever we went , sometimes using my 5D and sometimes using my Iphone. The Iphone is quite handy when you want to do Panoramas though.

Here are some pictures from our holiday in New Zealand 🙂

(Please email me at jgp@jeromegoh.com if you would like to purchase printed pictures of any of the photographs in this post or if you would like permission to use any of the photos for any other purpose)

Edmund and Evelyn’s Pre Wedding photoshoot in Macau

1 Edmund and Evelyns Pre Wedding photoshoot in Macau

Many Singaporean couples come to Macau to have their Pre Wedding photos done with me 🙂 Coming for a holiday and at the same time having their Pre wedding photos shot by me in this beautiful and historic city is one of the main reasons my couples from Singapore take the short three and a half hour flight to Macau.

Would you like Pre wedding photos that are different from the common Bridal Studio style photos? Feel free to contact me to find out more 🙂

Jerome the Wedding Photojournalist

wpja jerome goh 2 Jerome the Wedding Photojournalist

When my clients ask me what is my style of photography, I always say my style is “Journalistic” and I document a wedding in Photographs. My photographs will tell the story of the wedding day and they will be pictures that you can look back on, 10 to 20 years down the road and they will still be pictures that you love. At every wedding, I do my best to shoot photographs that are “Timeless”

I had some free time today and I googled “What is a Photojournalist” , this is the explanation that I found:

What is a Photojournalist?

A photojournalist is someone who photographs an event in order to tell a visual story, the story of the event. Photo Journalists are professionals that are skilled at interpreting and communicating an event through a photograph or a set of photographs. A Photo Journalist can work for a news organisation reporting on war crimes or a political event or any event or person that requires a story to be told through images.

As for me, I am a “Wedding Photojournalist”. I document weddings in Photographs, my story is the Wedding that I am shooting.  I work in a discreet way to capture the wedding as naturally as I can.  That is my specialization and I love what I do 🙂

I am also a member of the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association). The WPJA has very strict membership criteria in the images that it’s members produce. I became a member of the WPJA a few years ago and I must admit that I was elated when I fulfilled their strict membership criteria.

Would you like your wedding to be shot in a “Journalistic” way?  Feel free to contact me 🙂
